The tape allows water vapor to escape from the mounting joint while preventing moisture from entering from the outside. It is used in the installation of windows, doors, and transparent structures. When paired with an internal vapor barrier tape, it creates a durable and energy-efficient sealing system.
Liplent-Sd is available with an adhesive or butyl rubber layer on one or both sides and is protected with a release liner. It does not require special tools for application and adheres well to most construction materials, including concrete, brick, PVC, and wood.
